Who you're dealing with

This website is operated by The Brew Store Noosa, 4a/11 Bartlett Street, Noosaville QLD 4566. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Alcohol and home brewing

We sell ingredients and equipment for making beer, wine and spirits at home. We don't sell alcohol.

Distillation. We sell stills and distilling supplies. In Australia it is an offence to use a still to produce spirits without a licence from the Australian Taxation Office, regardless of the size of the still or whether the spirit is for personal use. Equipment sold for distilling water or essential oils, or for hobby purposes, is sold on the basis that you hold any licence the law requires. Using it otherwise is your responsibility, not ours.

By ordering these products you confirm you're at least 18 years old.

Prices

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. We try to keep them accurate, but prices and product information can change without notice.

If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price — a pricing or typographical error — we're not obliged to supply it at that price. We'll contact you, and you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept it, which is when we confirm your order is packed, dispatched or ready to collect — not when the website shows a confirmation screen.

We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, the price was wrong, we can't verify your payment or delivery details, or we have reasonable grounds to think the order isn't genuine. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.

Stock

We share stock between the website and the shop counter, so occasionally something sells out between you ordering and us picking it. If that happens we'll contact you to arrange a substitute, a credit or a refund.

Payment

We accept card payment online through Stripe, and cash or card at the counter for click & collect orders. Orders are packed once payment is confirmed, or on collection for pay-at-pickup orders.

Delivery and collection

Delivery options, rates and timeframes are set out on our delivery page. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees — once a parcel is with the courier, its progress is outside our control.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or when you collect them from the shop. If a parcel arrives damaged, see our returns page — we'll sort it out.

Click & collect orders are held for 14 days. If you need longer, just let us know.

Using the products safely

Brewing and distilling involve heat, pressure, glass and gas. Follow the instructions supplied with each product and any safety information on the packaging. We're always happy to talk you through it — that's what the shop is for — but general brewing advice we give is offered in good faith and doesn't guarantee a particular result. Fermentation depends on conditions we can't control.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for activity under your login. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where we're permitted to limit our liability, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or refunding the price you paid. We're not liable for loss that wasn't reasonably foreseeable.

Website content

The content on this site — text, images, logos and layout — belongs to us or our suppliers and is protected by copyright. You're welcome to browse, share links and print pages for your own use. Please don't copy the site's content for commercial purposes without asking.

Product photographs are indicative. Manufacturers change their packaging from time to time, so what arrives may not look identical to the picture.

How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
