New to brewing?
What do you need to brew beer at home?
Four things: a fermenter, something to ferment — a fresh wort kit or a tin of malt extract — the right yeast, and a way to package the result, either bottles and a capper or a keg. A fresh wort kit is the easiest start: the wort is already professionally brewed, so you sanitise, pour, pitch the yeast and wait a couple of weeks. Extract tins cost less and open up recipe tweaking; all-grain brewing with milled grain and fresh hops comes later, on the same gear. The Brew Store in Noosaville carries more than 1,000 home brew supplies across beer, cider, spirits and kegging — starter kits through to commercial-grade fermenters — with flat-rate delivery Australia-wide and free click & collect on the Sunshine Coast.
Not sure where to start? The recipe builder designs a beer from real shop stock — pick a style and it assembles the grain, hops and yeast as a kit you can put straight in the cart — or ring (07) 5412 2766 and talk to someone who brews.

What the Sunshine Coast is saying
Best home brew shop on the coast. The advice when I was starting out saved me from a dozen mistakes — and the kit they pointed me at made cracking beer right out of the gate.
Mate at the counter actually brews. Sorted me out with a fresh wort, a CO2 refill and an opinion on which yeast — and was right on every count.
Have been coming for years. Stock is always good, prices are fair, and the team know their stuff. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for grain or hops.
