Spirits

The whole spirits range: essences for flavour, turbo and distiller's yeasts for the ferment, oak for ageing, carbon and filtration, and distilling equipment — mostly Still Spirits, Samuel Willard's, Edwards Essences and Pure Distilling.

New to this? An essence is a concentrated flavouring you stir into a neutral base spirit you've bought, which is how most people here make a rum-, whisky- or gin-style drink at home — no still anywhere in the picture. Distilling is a separate matter with its own rules: in Australia it needs an excise manufacturer licence from the ATO, and any still over 5 litres needs ATO permission to own or use, whatever you intend to do with it.
